ABOUT THE COMPANY

Mshel Construction Limited is seeking to recruit a qualified and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join its team in Abuja. The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, interpreting, and presenting data to support business decisions, improve operational efficiency, and drive strategic planning through data-driven insights.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets from various sources.

• Interpret data trends and provide actionable insights to management.

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports and dashboards.

• Develop and maintain databases, spreadsheets, and reporting systems.

• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and business metrics.

• Identify patterns, trends, and opportunities for process improvement.

• Collaborate with departments to understand reporting and analytical needs.

• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality.

• Use statistical techniques and analytical tools to solve business problems.

• Present findings and recommendations through reports, charts, and presentations.

• Support decision-making by providing accurate and timely data analysis.

• Assist in automating reporting processes and improving data management systems.

  

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work closely with management and departmental teams to improve reporting efficiency.

• Support the implementation of data management best practices across the organization.

• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives through data-driven recommendations.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Data Science, or a related field.

• Proven experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar analytical role.

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools.

• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar reporting tools is an added advantage.

• Basic understanding of statistics and data modeling.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

• Good communication and presentation skills.
