JOB DESCRIPTION
Operates video camera and related equipment in the production and editing of video commercials or other video productions.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Working with a Creative Director or collaborative team to create the film or video product
2. Shooting, editing and producing at least 3 videos per week
3. Troubleshoots problems with the equipment
4. Interviewing people and creating a film clip via editing raw footage
5. Inserting closed captioning, graphics, or other on-screen text into a video
6. Adding computer graphics and special effects to a video.
7. Making video commercials
8. Figuring out what type of equipment to use, calibrating and maintaining equipment
9. Setting up cameras, audio recorders, lighting, microphones, and props

REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS JOB

1. 5 years experience or more in similar position
2. Technical acumen to be able to operate, configure, set up, and fix video, audio, lighting, or other production equipment
3. Ability to work under deadline pressure
4. Passion they have to be all about getting the shot.
5. Manual dexterity, physical mobility, and some physical strength/stamina
6. Creativity and attention to detail
