ABOUT THE COMPANY

  P.F. Candle Co. is a small batch candle company based in Los Angeles, run by wife and husband team Kristen Pumphrey & Thomas Neuberger. Check out our crew below! We love how candles have the power to change the entire atmosphere of a room with their soft glow and fragrance. All of our candles are made using domestically grown soy wax, cotton core wicks, fine fragrance oils, and apothecary inspired packaging. Jars are finished off with a simple label and brass lid. Each candle is hand poured, packaged, and shipped in our Los Angeles studio.




JOB DESCRIPTIONS

1. As a result of growth and the need to strengthen our current team, we need exceptional individuals with the right qualifications, mentality, drive and experience to join our team of agronomy and other professionals.
2. The registration of new products and the maintenance of registration of approved products in order to ensure viability of these products in the marketplace.
3. Maintaining good relationship with appropriate authorities to enhance registration of new products and renewal of registration of the approved products.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

1. To lead, develop and manage regulatory affairs team.
2. Meet the registration approval dates for products planned for launch each year.
3. To lead the strategic planning and co-ordination of submission of new product registration applications in a timely manner and follow through the application during the evaluation phase to achieve approval in line with planned registrations.
4. Ensure the registrations of new products are achieved before their due dates.
5. Provide adequate training and guidance to the sales team and regulatory associates.

 REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS JOB

1. Second Class Upper Degree in Agronomy / Soil Science/ Crop Science / Agricultural Biology or a related discipline.
2. Master's Degree in Agronomy / Soil Science / Crop Science / Agricultural Biology or related professional qualification will be an added advantage.
3. Good experience in data management systems.
4. At least 5 years experience.
5. Attention to detail, commercially aware and ability to work with little or no supervision.
6. Good organizational skills, ability to execute multi-task priorities efficiently and work productively in a fast paced team-oriented environment.
