JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

1. The Site Engineer reports will be responsible for overseeing the effective implementation and construction of the plan design for any project
2. The incumbent will offer advice in the planning, coordination, and supervision of all technical aspects of the construction site.
3. The duties of the Site Engineer include; managing, developing and maintaining construction projects; conducting on-site investigations, and overseeing all building-related activities
4. Responsibilities will also include solving technical issues, supervising construction workers, and analyzing data as well as assessing potential risks.

REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS JOB

1. B.Sc in Civil Engineering, Building Technology or a similar field is preferred
2. M.Sc is an added advantage
3. At least 10 years of proven work experience in civil engineering / construction
4. Excellent knowledge of design and visualizations software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar.
5. Proficiency in site layout, grading, utility design, regulatory approvals.
6. Project management and supervision skills.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
8. The license of a professional engineer.
9. Strong reporting skills
10. Strong organization skills.

Special Conditions

1. Proven experience with flat slab construction is compulsory
2. Excellent detail orientation
3. Knowledge of workflow processes
4. Ability to work under considerable pressure to deliver on fixed deadlines.
