ROLE OVERVIEW

Kuda Bank is seeking a result-driven and analytical iOS Engineer to contribute to the development of its native iOS mobile application. This role requires a deep understanding of programming tools and languages to enhance current codes, optimize processes, resolve issues, and deliver an exceptional user experience.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• App Development: Design and build applications for the iOS platform.
• Performance and Quality Assurance: Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Feature Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Problem Resolution: Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
• Code Quality: Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of industry experience, preferably in a start-up or scale-up environment.
• Proficient with Swift Package Manager and Cocoa Touch.
• Strong experience with UIKit/SwiftUI for building user interfaces.
• Familiarity with iOS frameworks like Core Data and Core Animation.
• Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs for backend connectivity.
• Understanding of Apple’s design principles and human interface guidelines.
• Experience with performance and memory management tools like Profile Instruments.
• Familiarity with cloud messaging APIs and push notifications.
• Strong skills in benchmarking and optimization.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools.
• Familiar with CI/CD processes.
