ABOUT THE COMPANY
The People Practice, on behalf of its client, offers a diverse range of investment management products and services. They are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Fund Manager to join their dynamic team.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and implement investment strategies for various portfolios, ensuring thorough market research and analysis to identify profitable opportunities.
• Manage diverse investment portfolios, including fixed income, hedge funds, private equity funds, real estate, and other non-traditional vehicles.
• Monitor portfolio performance, analyze risk and return metrics, and adjust strategies to optimize outcomes.
• Assess and manage investment risks by implementing effective risk mitigation strategies.
• Maintain relationships with fund managers, brokers, and other industry professionals to stay informed on market trends.
• Lead and mentor a team of investment professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration and high performance.
• Generate and present regular reports on fund performance, market trends, and investment activities to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to ensure fund strategies align with broader organizational goals.
• Stay updated on market developments, technological advancements, and regulatory changes affecting investments.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal policies related to alternative investments.

REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS JOB

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
• 7 - 10 years of experience in investment management, with at least 3 years leading an investment team.
• Relevant certifications such as CFA or equivalent credentials are an advantage.
• Strong understanding of investment vehicles, strategies, and market dynamics.
• Familiarity with due diligence processes, including fund manager assessments, investment structure evaluations, and risk-return analyses.
• Experience with portfolio management systems and tools like Bloomberg, FactSet, and other investment platforms.
