Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko (AAUA), Ondo State, Nigeria, was first established as Obafemi Awolowo University in March 1982 by the government of the old Ondo State, headed by the late Chief Adekunle Ajasin.

POSITION 1: Bakery Manager
REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION
Candidate must possess 

1. Higher National Diploma (HND) with a minimum of Lower Credit in relevant field and must be a proven, experienced Master Baker. Higher qualifications will be an added advantage.
2. Candidates are required to submit proposal and work plan for the first three years along with their applications.
3. Must have completed the NYSC programme or have an evidence of exemption from the programme. 

POSITION 2: Technical Officer
Department: Information and Communication Technology Application Centre (ICTAC)

REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION

1. Candidate must possess Higher National Diploma (HND) with a minimum of Lower Credit in Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering or Physics/Electronics from a recognized institution. Or
2. Candidate must possess National Diploma (ND) with a minimum of Lower Credit in Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering or Physics/Electronics from a recognized institution plus, at least, six (6) years’ post-qualification cognate experience in computer operations/maintenance in a University or an appropriate corporate organization.
3. Must have completed the NYSC programme or have an evidence of exemption from the programme.

POSITION 3: Higher Technical Officer
Departments: Information and Communication Technology Application Centre (ICTAC), Forestry & Wildlife Management, Fisheries/Livestock

REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION

1. Candidate must possess Higher National Diploma (HND) with a minimum of Lower Credit in Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering or Physics/Electronics from a recognized institution. Or
2. Candidate must possess National Diploma (ND) with a minimum of Lower Credit in Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering or Physics/Electronics from a recognized institution plus, at least, six (6) years’ post-qualification cognate experience in a University or an appropriate corporate organization.
3. Must have completed the NYSC programme or have an evidence of exemption from the programme.

POSITION 4: Farm Manager II
Departments: Teaching & Research Farm, Fisheries/Livestock

REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION

1. Candidate must possess a good Honours Degree with at least Second Class (Lower Division) in Fisheries/Animal Production (or other related fields) from a recognized University
2. Candidate must have at least two (2) years post-qualification cognate experienceMust have completed the NYSC programme or have an evidence of exemption from the programme.

POSITION 5: Studio Technologist
Department: Mass Communication

REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION

1. Candidate must possess HND with at least Lower Credit in relevant field from a recognized Institution or equivalent qualification registrable with relevant Professional bodies 
2. Candidate must have at least two (2) years post-qualification cognate experience 
3. Must have completed the NYSC programme or have an evidence of exemption from the programme. 

POSITION 6: Guest House ManagerREQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION
Candidate must possess 

1. Higher National Diploma (HND) with a minimum of Lower Credit in Catering and Hotel Management, Tourism and Hospitality Management or related fields and must possess demonstrable experience in Guest House or Hotel Management. Higher qualifications will be an added advantage. 
2. Candidates are required to submit proposal and work plan for the first three years along with their applications. 
3. Must have completed the NYSC programme or have an evidence of exemption from the programme. 

POSITION 7: Block-making Manager

REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION

1. Candidate must possess Higher National Diploma (HND) with a minimum of Lower Credit in Building Engineering, Civil Engineering or related fields and must possess demonstrable experience in relevant field. Higher qualifications will be an added advantage. 
2. Candidates are required to submit proposal and work plan for the first three years along with their applications.

POSITION 8: Technologist II

REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION 

1. Candidate must possess HND with at least Lower Credit in relevant field from a recognized Institution or equivalent qualification registrable with NISLT 
2. Candidate must have at least two (2) years post-qualification cognate experience 
3. Graduates with HND should have completed the NYSC programme or have an evidence of exemption from the programme.

POSITION 9: Water Factory Manager

REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION

1. Candidate must possess Higher National Diploma (HND) with a minimum of Lower Credit in relevant field and must possess demonstrable experience in relevant field. Higher qualifications will be an added advantage.

POSITION 10: Computer Engineer II

REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION

1. Candidate must possess a Bachelor of Science degree, with at least a Second Class (Lower Division), in Computer Engineering or Electrical/Electronic Engineering from a recognized University.

POSITION 11:  Sound Engineer
Department: University Radio (Radio AAUA 90.3 FM)

REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION

1. Candidate must possess a good Honours degree or HND in Electrical/Electronics (or other related fields) from a recognised institution with a minimum of 5 years cognate and hands-on experience. 
2. Must have completed the NYSC programme or have an evidence of exemption from the programme. 

POSITION 12: Systems Analyst II
Department: Information and Communication Technology Application Centre (ICTAC)

REQUIREMENT FOR THIS POSITION

1. Candidate must possess a Bachelor of Science degree, with at least a Second Class (Lower Division), in Computer Science/Information Communication Technology or related discipline from a recognized University.

POSITION 13: Station Manager

1. Candidate must possess a good Honours degree or HND in Mass Communication or related disciplines from a recognised institution with a minimum of 10 years cognate and hands-on experience.

POSITION 14: Systems Analyst I

REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION 

1. Candidate must possess a Bachelor of Science degree, with at least a Second Class (Lower Division), in Computer Science/Information Communication Technology or related discipline from a recognized University, plus three (3) years’ post-qualification experience Data Processing and Software Design. Or 
2. Candidate must possess a Bachelor of Science degree, with at least a Second Class (Lower Division), in Computer Science/Information Communication Technology or related discipline from a recognized University with M.Sc. degree in Information Communication Technology or related discipline. 
3. Must have completed the NYSC programme or have an evidence of exemption from the programme. 

POSITION 15: Senior Systems Analyst
Department: Information and Communication Technology Application Centre (ICTAC)

REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION

1. Candidate must have a Bachelor of Science degree with at least a Second Class (Lower Division) in Computer Science/Information Communication & Technology with a minimum of Second Class (Lower Division) plus six (6) years’ cognate experience in computer applications. Or 
2. Candidate must in addition to the Bachelor of Science degree possess M.Sc. degree in Computer Science or Information Communication Technology or equivalent discipline plus three (3) years’ experience in a University or an appropriate corporate organization. 
3. Must have completed the NYSC programme or have an evidence of exemption from the programme. 

POSITION 16: Engineer II

REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION 

1. Candidate must possess a good Honours degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering, with at least Second Class (Lower Division), from a recognized University. 
2. Candidate must be registered with COREN. 
3. Must have completed the NYSC programme or have an evidence of exemption from the programme. 

POSITION 17: Senior Engineer (Mechanical)
Department: Works & Services

REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION

1. Candidate must possess B.Sc Engineering with at least Second Class (Lower Division) in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University. 
2. Candidate must be registered with COREN. 
3. Candidates must have at least six (6) years’ post-qualification cognate experience. 
4. Must have completed the NYSC programme or have an evidence of exemption from the programme. 

POSITION 18: Supplies Officer II
Department: Bursary

REQUIREMENT FOR THIS POSITION

1. Candidate must possess a good Honours Bachelor’s Degree in Economics/Accounting/Business Administration, with at least Second Class (Lower Division), from a recognised University 
2. Must have completed the NYSC programme or have an evidence of exemption from the programme. 

POSITION 19: Deputy Director
Department: Information and Communication Technology Application Centre (ICTAC)

REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION

1. Candidate must possess a Bachelor of Science degree with at least a Second Class (Lower Division) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Engineering Physics, or Electrical and Electronics Engineering, from a recognized University, plus a Ph.D. degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information and Communication Technology or Electrical and Electronics Engineering with a minimum of nine (9) years cognate professional experience especially in the design and implementation of large systems. Or 
2. Candidate must possess a Bachelor of Science degree with at least a Second Class (Lower Division) in Computer Engineering or Electrical and Electronics Engineering, from a recognized University plus a Masters’ degree in Computer Engineering, Engineering Physics, Computer Science or Electrical and Electronics Engineering, plus a minimum of twelve (12) years’ cognate professional experience especially in the design and implementation of large data processing systems. 
3. The candidate must also have at least three (3) years administrative experience at the senior management level with strong evidence of project team and group leadership, and candidate must have acquired full membership of the COREN (in the case of Deputy Director, Engineering/Operations) or the Computer Professional Registration Council of Nigeria (MCPN) in the case of Deputy Director, Systems Development. 
4. Must have completed the NYSC programme or have an evidence of exemption from the programme. 

POSITION 20: Accountant II

1. Candidate must possess a good Honours Bachelor Degree in Accounting with at least Second Class (Lower Division) from a recognised University 
2. Must have completed the NYSC programme or have an evidence of exemption from the programme. 

POSITION 21: Assistant Registrar

REQUIREMENT FOR THIS POSITION 

1. Candidate must possess a good Honours degree in relevant discipline with at least Second Class (Lower Division) from a recognized University and must have at least six (6) years’ post-qualification experience. OR 
2. Candidate must possess a good Honours degree with at least Second Class (Lower Division) from a recognized University plus a Masters’ degree in relevant discipline; and must have a minimum of three (3) years’ post-qualification experience. 
3. Must have completed the NYSC programme or have an evidence of exemption from the programme. 

POSITION 22: Senior Accountant

REQUIREMENT FOR THIS POSITION

1. Candidate must possess a good Honours Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting with at least Second Class (Lower Division) from a recognised University, plus full professional qualification from a recognised Accounting body such as ICAN, ACCA, ACMA and CPA; OR Candidate must possess a good Honours Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting with at least Second Class (Lower Division) from a recognised University plus six (6) years of cognate experience in the University or an appropriate corporate organization 
2. Must have completed the NYSC programme or have an evidence of exemption from the programme. 

POSITION 23: Deputy Registrar (Administrative)
Department: Registry

REQUIREMENT FOR THIS POSITION

1. Candidate must possess a good Honours degree, with at least Second Class (Lower Division), plus a Masters’ degree in relevant discipline from a recognized University and must have not less than fifteen (15) years’ post-qualification experience and three (3) years as a Principal Assistant Registrar in a University or an institution of comparable status. 
2. The candidate must be computer literate and must be a member of a relevant professional body. 
3. Must have completed the NYSC programme or have an evidence of exemption from the programme. 

POSITION 24: Deputy Registrar (Legal)
Department: Registry

REQUIREMENT FOR THIS POSIOTION

1. Candidate must possess a good Honours degree in Law (LL.B), with at least Second Class (Lower Division), from a recognized University and Barrister at Law (B. L) plus a Masters’ degree in relevant discipline and must have a minimum of fifteen (15) years’ post-qualification experience. 
2. Computer literacy is required. 
3. Must have completed the NYSC programme or have an evidence of exemption from the programme. 

POSITION 25: Deputy Bursar
Department: Bursary

REQUIREMENT FOR THIS POSITION

1. Candidate must possess a B.Sc. Degree in Accounting or related discipline with at least Second Class (Lower Division) plus an MBA or M.Sc. in relevant discipline from a recognized University; and must be a full member of a recognized professional accounting body such as ICAN, ACA, ACCA, ACMA and CPA 
2. Candidate must also have at least fifteen (15) years’ post-qualification experience, three (3) of which must have been at a senior management position in a University or equivalent institution of higher learning, or an appropriate corporate organization
