We are recruiting to fill the following positions:

POSITION 1: Senior Well Engineer
Business: Refinery
Function/Domain: Plant & Machinery (P & M)

JOB DESCRIPTIONS

1. Expert level skills in developing both individually and with key stakeholders: Well concepts, supplier pre-qualification, tender/RFP technical and commercial evaluation templates.
2. Providing negotiation support, and creating and ensuring timely delivery of complex scopes from Strategy development to Evaluation to Mobilization.
3. From SOW to close out of work plans and documents. (Contract role)

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Demonstrated Expert at technically, pre-qualifying scoping and evaluating 3rd party well (Oil field services for drilling work-over, completion,) suppliers and outsourced work from low to high risk, simple to complex work, and costs /values from the tens of thousands to the tens of millions USD.
2. Scopes range from the re-entry of existing wells, intervention, work-over, re-completion, and re-drill to Greenfield well and completion concepts.
3. May involve subsea as well as surface technologies.

REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION

1. Desired Qualifications/Preferred Competencies
2. M.Sc /B.Sc Petroleum/Chemical Engineering 15+ years’ experience in the Oil and Gas industry as a wells engineer with at least 5 but no more than 8 years in field oversight and execution
3. Excellent technical and communication skills with a strong emphasis on teamwork,
4. Fluency in written and spoken English language
5. Track record in working in Nigerian or other international locales with heavy governmental engagement required in selection, tendering, and contracting for E&P support services.
6. Demonstrated skill in supplier selection.

POSITION II: Senior Development Geologist
Business: Refinery
Function/Domain: Petroleum Production Engineering

JOB DESCRIPTIONS

1. Senior technical member of sub-surface team responsible for building and updating reservoir static models, well planning, field development activities, planning & monitoring operational activities across shallow marine assets offshore Nigeria.
2. Provide high quality geological evaluations, reservoir and well correlations to the Development Team.
3. Provide Input to geological projects and studies and integrate study results in to field development models.
4. Perform & QC models with uncertainty realisation.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Accurate static models that capture depositional environment inherent in the reservoirs
2. Models/scenarios that capture accurate property distributions in the reservoirs
3. Models/scenarios that define/capture drillable opportunities and sweet spots
4. Accurate Deterministic/Stochastic reserve estimations
5. Work with team geoscientists, REs and PEs to create representative suite of facies and static models Petro-physical input to reserve evaluation and identification of sweet spots for further drilling opportunities

REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION
Desired Qualifications/Preferred Competencies

1. M.Sc/PhD level or equivalent in Geoscience/Geology.
2. Minimum 10-15 years’ cognate experience in oil/gas industry with 7-10 years’ solid experience in static modelling and development/reservoir geology in clastic environment.
