We are recruiting to fill the position of Quality Control Manager

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Understand customer needs and requirements to develop effective quality control processes
2. Devise and review specifications for products or processes
3. Ensure adherence to health and safety guidelines as well as legal obligations
4. Supervise inspectors, technicians and other staff and provide guidance and feedback
5. Approve the right products or reject defectives
6. Implement and manage the quality control environment.
7. Lead and assure the integrity of the Quality Measurement Systems.
8. Protect organisation reputation and product integrity.
9. Manage financial performance (management).
10. Drive systemic performance improvement in the department
11. Lead the quality and integrated systems management in the department
12. Manage human resources
13. Keep accurate documentation and perform statistical analysis
14. Solicit feedback from customers to assess whether their requirements are met.Requirements

REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS JOB

1. Minimum of B.Sc. or HND in Food Science and Technology, Microbiology, or other Science- related disciplines.
2. 5 years hands-on experience in similar role in a reputable organisation, preferably in an FMCG environment.
3. A high degree of commercial acumen, as well as supervisory, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
4. Good understanding of the principles and practices of Manufacturing Excellence
5. Computer literacy is an advantage
