JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a Senior Mobile Developer to join our Lagos office. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing complex IT solutions in alignment with our enterprise architecture. You will develop high-quality Flutter-based applications for both iOS and Android, working within a scrum team to deliver solutions that add value and meet business objectives.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and maintain mobile applications for iOS and Android devices.
• Focus on Flutter-based applications and integrate them with back-end services.
• Identify and fix bottlenecks and bugs to enhance performance.
• Collaborate with multi-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features.
• Participate in sprint planning, task breakdown, and daily stand-ups.
• Ensure applications meet performance, quality, and responsiveness standards.

JOB REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS

• In-depth knowledge of Flutter and Dart, including state management approaches like BLoC, Riverpod, and Provider.
• Proficient in bug fixing, performance optimization, and unit-testing.
• Strong understanding of code versioning tools such as Git.
• Experience with technologies and practices including JSON, REST, Firebase, CI/CD, and Azure DevOps.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 4+ years of experience in mobile app development for iOS and/or Android.
• 2 years of commercial experience with Flutter-based apps.
• Experience with offline storage (SQLite, CoreData), maps, push messaging, local notifications, and background services.
• Familiarity with Firebase frameworks, state management, and platform channels.
• Knowledge of integrating third-party libraries and APIs.
