JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for clients, ensuring they receive exceptional service from the moment they arrive. You will manage the front desk, coordinate appointments, and support the stylists and management team in delivering a seamless experience.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Warmly greet clients upon arrival and provide information on salon services.
  • Manage and coordinate appointments via phone, messages, and walk-ins, ensuring optimal scheduling.
  • Handle incoming calls and messages, responding promptly and directing them as necessary.
  • Process client payments for services and retail products, manage cash transactions, and balance the register daily.
  • Assist clients with purchasing hair care products, providing product knowledge, and tracking inventory.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the reception area to ensure a welcoming environment.
  • Update and maintain accurate client records in the salon’s booking system.
  • Relay messages between clients and stylists, ensuring clear communication regarding appointments and special requests.
  • Address client concerns or complaints professionally and efficiently.
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as inventory management, marketing support, and event planning.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or a relevant field.
  • Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role, preferably in a salon or spa environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with scheduling software and basic computer skills.
  • A positive and professional demeanor with a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

SALARY

  • N100,000 per month.
