JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design basic front-end website architecture and interfaces.
• Develop back-end website applications from scratch.
• Create servers and databases to support functionality.
• Ensure the security and scalability of applications.
• Optimize applications for cross-platform functionality, especially for mobile devices.
• Ensure applications are responsive to various screen sizes and devices.
• Oversee projects from conception to the final product, managing both the backend and ensuring the frontend is functional.
• Design and develop APIs to integrate with other platforms.
• Stay updated with the latest developments in the PHP and Laravel ecosystem.
• Address both technical and consumer needs during the development process.
• Collaborate with product designers and front-end developers to build a seamless and user-friendly interface.
• Meet rapid development lifecycles and faster time-to-market for projects.

REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS JOB

• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in building complex web applications using PHP and the Laravel framework.
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and proper code design.
• Experience with unit testing and end-to-end testing.
• Proficiency in SQL and understanding of SQL schema design.
• Familiarity with SOLID principles for clean code design.
• Hands-on experience with front-end technologies like JavaScript, jQuery, VueJS, Tailwind CSS, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Proficiency in using the Git version control system for tracking code changes.
• Strong working knowledge of MySQL and experience with NoSQL databases (especially MongoDB).
• Experience in designing and developing REST APIs.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, and microservices architecture.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently on projects.
• Familiarity with deployment processes across different environments.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, rapidly develop applications, and meet shorter development cycles.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Willingness to embrace new technologies and learn on the job.

REMUNERATION

• Salary: N300,000 - N400,000 Monthly.
