JOB BRIEF
We are seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to ensure that our plants adhere to quality protocols and produce the highest quality products. The role involves overseeing quality procedures, developing sustainable quality practices, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure adherence to standards set by PCI and regulatory policies on Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).
• Liaise with PCI and government officials regarding product quality, packaging, and consumer concerns.
• Provide timely and accurate quality performance reports for regional management.
• Develop strategic programs to achieve and maintain sustainable product quality.
• Lead quality assurance audits, including AIB, QAS, and GFIS.
• Oversee quality control efforts to ensure products meet company standards.
• Identify and lead quality and cost management initiatives to boost productivity.
• Conduct risk assessments, manage issues with non-conforming products, and provide analysis to prevent recurrence.
• Advise on compliance with new government regulations on manufacturing and quality standards.
• Conduct regular surveys to enhance product quality and minimize waste.
• Maintain a regional database for plant and product performance.

REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS JOB

• Bachelor’s Degree (B.Sc.) or HND in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Food Science and Technology.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the carbonated soft drink (CSD) industry, with at least 2 years in a managerial quality control/assurance role.
• Knowledge of bottling operations, operational planning, and HQSE (Health, Quality, Safety, Environment) standards.
• Familiarity with GMP and GHK (5S) standards.
• Experience in budgeting and people management.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing methodologies and compliance requirements.
